EY offers summer internships across the following areas of the business: Tax, Consultancy and Audit. Their internships offer real insights into EY and are ideal for students in their penultimate year of university. Summer interns with EY will be able to see their impact first-hand. They will work on client projects with their team, gain new skills that will shape the rest of their careers and explore their interests supported by leaders. Conservation / Science Internships
Ocean Science Scholars Marine Internship Programme (Education or Research focused
Internships at the Central Caribbean Marine Institute (CCMI) provide an exciting opportunity for early career scientists and educators to gain real-life experiences with research, marine education, communications, and field station operations. CCMI maintains active field research and education programmes in the Cayman Islands at their Little Cayman Research Centre (LCRC), supported by a team of scientists, educators, outreach and communications coordinators. Internships are 3-6 months long, dependent on the intern's availability and CCMI's needs. Internships typically run from January-June, July-December or January-March, April-June, July-September, or October-December. All Ocean Science Scholar (OSS) internships are generously funded by the Edmund F. and Virginia B. Ball Foundation.
Age/ study level: Open to ages 18 and up (must be legal adult) and to current students or recent graduates.
Status: Must be Caymanian or a permanent resident of the Cayman Islands.
Application dates: Applications received on a continuous rolling basis.
Paid: Interns receive a CI$500mo reimbursement, full accommodation, all meals, access to CCMI's bikes and kayaks, airport transport, and one round-trip ticket on Cayman Airways within the Cayman Islands to Little Cayman.

Young Environmentalist Leadership Course (YELC)
The Central Caribbean Marine Institute's (CCMI) Young Environmentalist Leadership Course (YELC) provides an opportunity for local students (ages 16-20) to carve their pathway into the water sports industry and marine sciences. YELC participants complete PADI Open Water, Advanced Open Water, and Rescue Diver certifications, and they attend a 7-10 day residential, hands-on experience with CCMIs education and research staff at the Little Cayman Research Centre (LCRC). Students work on field projects and learn to use instruments and equipment to broaden their horizons and experiences that can be used in the workplace. Students also take part in night dives, lionfish dissections, CV workshops, mock job interviews, and networking opportunities with local industry professionals. The YELC programme bridges an important gap for local students who do not have access to post-high school education in the Cayman Islands, breaking down financial and educational barriers.
Age/ study level: Open to students ages 16-20 or recent graduates.
Status: Must be Caymanian or a permanent resident of the Cayman Islands.

Creative Industry Internships
The National Gallery of the Cayman Islands
The National Gallery is committed to providing opportunities for young Caymanians to develop their skills and knowledge in pursuit of a creative career. They offer various work experience placements throughout the year, plus summer internships and an annual year-long internship. All placements allow successful candidates to gain hands-on experience with all aspects of gallery management, including curating, marketing, education and events.
Age/ study level: Work experience students must be 15+. Summer interns must have completed high school. Annual yearlong internship: students must be 18+.
Status: Non-Caymanian students are welcome to apply for unpaid work experience positions, but applicants for the annual paid internship must be Caymanian.
Paid: The one year internship is paid. Work experience and the summer internships are unpaid.

Tower is committed to helping the next generation of marketers gain more experience. The intern will assist the Client Services Representatives with the execution of marketing activities to meet agreed company and client objectives.

This summer internship is an exciting opportunity for a student interested in financial services to gain practical on-the-job experience and work with industry experts. Cayman Finance - LEAD Programme
LEAD is a pathway for high-performing Caymanian students to learn about the Cayman Islands financial services industry and the careers available. LEAD provides mentorship and exposure to what it’s really like to work in financial services. The programme helps students develop new contacts and earn a stipend over the summer.
Age/ study level: CIG dual-enrolment finishing first year A levels or UCCI, or private school British system finishing first year A levels, or American system finishing Grade 11.

Maples Group
In addition to its legal internship opportunities, the Maples Group welcomes applications from Caymanian/Status Holder students who are interested in a wide range of business specialties. Students who participate in the Maples Group's Summer Internship Programme are exposed to real-life work experience, facilitated training, interactive workshops, e-learning platforms, group work and independent assignments. Internships are available in legal services, business support and fiduciary and funds services.

Enterprise Cayman
The Enterprise Cayman Internship Programme is open to Caymanians between the ages of 18-25 years and lasts for one to three months. Summer internship placements offer hands-on experience and access to knowledge-based career paths. Industry leaders provide participants with the tools and confidence they need to achieve both professionals goals and secure influential connections within chosen industry sectors. Many internship placements have successfully led to full-time job placements with special economic zone companies.

CUC
As part of CUC's ongoing commitment towards the development of and providing opportunities for young people on Grand Cayman, CUC annually welcomes students to its annual Summer Internship and Vocational Programmes. The programmes expose young people to different career opportunities to gain experience in a professional setting along with valuable hands-on training. In addition, students also participate in a number of weekly 'Lunch and Learn' sessions, which include discussions on budgeting, resume writing and acceptable business etiquette.

Island Heritage invites applications for the Summer Internship Programme. Interns will have the opportunity to put their classroom knowledge into practice in a professional environment, gain exposure to their chosen field and start establishing industry connections.

Water Authority Cayman
The Water Authority Cayman offers an annual summer internship programme to current students or recent graduates. Interns typically work for four to eight weeks between 1st June and 31st August, during which time they gain important work experience and meaningful insights into the Authority's role as a utility supplier and regulatory body.

Mise en Place
Mise en Place is offering a two week summer internship in July/August to students passionate about hospitality and culinary arts and who are interested in pursuing a career in the field. The internship provides hands-on culinary experience with mentorship on knife skills, menu planning, food preparation, and customer service. Qualified applicants will be invited to attend an interview at Mise en Place. Following the interview, the chefs will select the top candidates for the summer internship.
Age/ study level: High school students aged 15-18.
Status: Must be Caymanian.
Paid: Unpaid. However, there may be the prospect of paid employment following the internship.

Ritz-Carlton
The Summer Internship Programme at the Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman invites young Caymanian students into the world of hospitality, inspiring the industry leaders of the future. The students can explore their preferred areas of interest in different departments at the resort, that vary from front office, culinary to water sports, among others. Students may select up to four departments or areas of focus. These may include room operations, food and beverage, marketing, recreation, finance and event management. Curriculum includes a mentorship programme, enhancement of job and interview skills, 'lunch and learns' with resort Executive Leaders and training sessions.
Age/ study level: Must be in university (age 17-25). A degree in hospitality, or related field, is preferred or a desire to pursue a career in hospitality in the future.
Paid: This is a paid internship.

Campbells offers legal and business services internships to students who wish to gain experience working in a global offshore law firm. Their 4-8 week programme is overseen by knowledgeable professionals who are committed to ensuring each intern receives valuable hands-on experience. They also offer bespoke internships throughout the year to students on a gap year or who are on extended study leave. Campbells offers placements in the areas of law, marketing, finance, compliance, information technology and corporate administration; however, these internships are subject to availability.

The annual paid internship programme is open to Caymanian students aged 17 and over. The interns work their way through each department on a rotational basis over a four-week period, guided closely by lawyers and business services professionals. During this time, students gain exposure to a range of different legal practice areas, recognise the role of business services within a law firm and have the opportunity to start building their professional network with a view to their future career development.

Conyers Dill & Pearman
Conyers summer law programme is their most important source for recruitment. They hire students with strong academic records and a dedication to performing exceptional work. The programme is designed to give Caymanian law students an insight into what its like to be a Conyers lawyer. From day one, students will be paired with a lawyer who will act as a mentor. Maples
The Maples Group invites applications from young Caymanians / Cayman Status Holders who are in the last years of their secondary education or beginning their tertiary education to work during the summer months within various legal and business support teams. Many of the Group's interns return year after year and several have been offered full-time placement with the Group following graduation. Summer placements are awarded first to the Group's legal and non-legal scholarship recipients and/or students who have previously participated in the Maples Group Internship Programme; space permitting, additional placements are offered to new applicants.

The Mourant Legal Internship gives you the chance to spread your wings working alongside lawyers in Litigation, Funds and Finance. Their Business Services Internship provides the opportunity to work with specialists in Human Resources, Business Development & Marketing, Information Technology, Finance, Compliance and Facilities. Internships last four weeks, and they ask that applicants are fully committed for the entire period of the placement.
Age/ study level: 16 or over, having completed at least Year 10 of high school.

The Ogier Cayman Internship Programme is a four-week placement over the June / July / August holiday period. It consists of specific legal or business services training and development by their experienced team to assist you with your undergraduate or postgraduate education.

Rawlinson & Hunter
Rawlinson & Hunter is committed to attracting, training and retaining young Caymanians by providing them with the tools necessary to succeed in the financial services industry. This is a two-year rotation programme and successful applicants will have the opportunity of job rotation working in three departments of the firm spending around eight months in each department. At the end of the programme, applicants who meets the performance objectives will be offered permanent employment and considered for a promotion to the next level.

The Walkers annual summer Legal Internship programme gives qualified Caymanians who are currently enrolled in a university law course exposure to the legal profession as well as practical experience of life in an international law firm. The Legal Internship programme is run across Walkers' main areas of work and helps successful applicants develop their commercial, presentation and team skills, which are essential in today's professional world. Health Services Authority (HSA)
The HSA's summer internship programme offers a unique opportunity to students who express a keen interest in pursuing a career in the healthcare field. The programme aims to give students practical experience and develop their skills for future career opportunities. Internships typically take place from June to September and can vary from four to eight weeks. As part of the application, you will be required to complete a personal statement explaining why you are interested in the internship.
Age/ study level: College/uni and high school students age 16 and above may apply.
