Dr. Layla Jaffree MD FACOG

Dr. Layla Jaffree is a board-certified OBGYN through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG), a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), and a diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine. She holds a certification in cosmetic gynecology from the International Society of Cosmetic Gynecology (ISCG).

With over 12 years of experience in gynecology and obstetrics, Dr. Jaffree brings a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and experience to OceanMed. In 2012, she earned her degree in medicine from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. After medical school, she embarked on her specialist qualifications in gynecology and obstetrics, completing her internship at Emory University School of Medicine Residency in 2013. She then went on to complete her specialty training as a resident in 2016, honing her skills in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Jacksonville, Florida.

She enjoys caring for women in all phases of life and practices full-spectrum obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Jaffree’s practice includes the treatment of conditions such as abnormal pap smears, vulvar and vaginal disorders, irregular bleeding, pelvic pain, uterine fibroids, endometriosis, and infertility. She also has a particular interest in high-risk pregnancies and minimally invasive surgery, including advanced robotic-assisted laparoscopic surgery.

Dr. Jaffree also treats postpartum and menopausal conditions, which include vaginal dryness and pain, leaky bladder, skin disorders of the vulva and other urinary symptoms. In addition to her expertise in traditional gynecology and obstetrics, she provides aesthetic gynecological services to help patients alleviate these and other health and aesthetic concerns. She is specially trained in performing procedures to improve women’s functional vaginal and sexual health using aesthetic and biologic procedures, helping women to feel more confident and empowered in their bodies.
